We have another full week across LCA Athletics. Please take a few minutes to review the schedule, facility use, reminders, and highlights below.
As always, if there is something your team accomplished that the rest of our coaching staff should hear about, send it my way.

Other spaces: HS Baseball weight training is Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-5:00 PM in the Weight Room. Saturday includes an HS Baseball workout from 9:00-11:00 AM in the Weight Room and the Baseball Parent Meeting from 7:00-8:00 PM in the Plex Lobby.

Academic Checks
The first academic grade check is Friday, September 4. Practice and Lifting Music
Music played during practices or lifting must be clean in its original form, not dependent on bleeps or edits, with no indication of sexual or inappropriate content. Licking Heights Hornet Invitational
Saturday's meet is at Licking Heights Middle School, 4000 Mink Street in Pataskala. MS races begin at 9:00 AM, Senior and Alumni Recognition is at 10:00 AM, and HS races begin at 10:30 AM. Admission is $8 for adults and $7 for students. |

| Last Call: Coaches Fantasy Football |

If anyone's interested, some of us are doing a fantasy football league. I think we have five committed so far, and we'd love to get to 8-12. There's no buy-in or anything, just bragging rights and maybe a small prize or trophy. We'll probably try to get together for a live draft sometime in the next couple weeks and get some pizza or something. If you want in, use the link below. Please only join if you are comfortable losing, because I don't plan to. |

HS Golf defeated Tree of Life 183-208. MJ Glenn was the match medalist and tied the school record with a one-under 35.
MS A Volleyball defeated Northside Christian 2-0, winning 25-13 and 25-8. Cross country recorded four PRs at the Newark Catholic Run the Du. Lincoln Platte completed his first high-school race, Avary Graves and Nyla Lieb completed their first MS races, Hunter Alexander improved his PR by more than seven seconds, and Jaydon earned a medal by finishing 33rd out of 139 runners. |
